Móar is our family-run guesthouse and countryside retreat near Akranes. We created it as a peaceful place where guests can slow down, breathe in the fresh Icelandic air, and feel at home.

Whether you stay in one of our cozy rooms or private cottages, you’ll be surrounded by open fields, wide skies, and the quiet rhythm of country life. You may also meet our curious chickens—and Táta, our friendly farm dog, who loves welcoming new guests.

Móar is within easy reach of Akranes and Reykjavík, yet far enough away to offer real peace and a clear view of the night sky. We look forward to welcoming you.
